Prayer for a Renewed Conscience and Softened Heart

A simple prayer to receive help, "Creator and Savior, please soften my heart in the places where I am hardened and resistant to your ways of life, love and light. Take those areas of my life where my conscience has been seared and restore it please, expose to me my error and convict me within, so that I feel ashamed or humbled, whatever is needed to bring my awareness to the problem and correct my state of hardness and resistance to truth, love and life eternal. I desire love in my life and to be like you, faithful to the Creator, a friend to humanity and lover of the truth."

This prayer can be said for any reason, from wanting to be convicted of scriptural truth to being released from addiction or lying. There are so many ways we are taught to accept as normalcy that aren't in alignment with the living spirit of God’s life giving nature and it's a simple Ask and Receive solution we are offered through faith in God and the ministry of our High Priest, and Physician.

1 Timothy 4:2 "Speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron." This verse is referring to the Mystery of Iniquity in the End Times, which is the loss of Torah instruction and being able to discern right from wrong due to multigenerational deception about the message of Christ and His instructions.

Rome turned Paul's ministry into a ministry of blind faith in ignorance of the Old Testament Wisdom, the very scriptures that became flesh and Christ Himself knew and lived by, even under great persecution. These days, the New Age, "One Love" attitude has done even further damage to the faithful, who have been taught to accept doctrines of demons based on feeling good and the validation of others.

The result of lawlessness (the mystery of iniquity) is error (sin) and it produces a hardening of the heart towards what God is really asking us to do. Practicing any sin repeatedly hardens the heart towards correction and allows for the acceptance of iniquity and the love of lies.

In order to feel bad about doing things we are used to doing we need the message of truth and the correction of the Holy Spirit. The Lord is able to soften our heart and give us a conscience towards what is error and remove the need for validation from anyone other than the Lord and His instruction, which He said those who loved Him would follow until the End. It's important to remember that the New Testament was not created while the Lord was alive and He set a complete example of how to livethat included study and adherence to Torah principals, such as Sabbath Day keeping.
